Pec pod Sněžkou is the most common starting point for trips to Sněžka, the highest mountain in the Czech Republic. The modern four-seater gondola lift with a transfer station on Růžová hora is open all year round. The lift ascends almost 700 m and provides breathtaking mountain views along the entire route. Marked hiking trails lead from Sněžka peak to Špindlerův Mlýn or Meadow Chalet.
